Clare Sheehan, M.Ost

Clare qualified with a four year integrated Masters degree in Osteopathy from the European School of Osteopathy in 2011.

Since graduating, she has been an associate at the Wexford Osteopathic Centre.

Clare has completed many post-graduate courses, including courses in cranial and visceral Osteopathy as well as trigger point dry needling.

Clare enjoys to work with all age groups, from newborn babies to the elderly, including sports people and post pregnancy mothers. She is a holistic practitioner and approaches all patients with the aim to identify the primary dysfunction in the body.  In treating the body as a whole, rather than just symptomatically, we can promote long term recovery.

Clare’s treatment plan is tailored to each individual patient. Special consideration is always given to the comfort and safety of the patient. She is confident and experienced in using gentle techniques (including functional releases and cranial and visceral techniques) and stronger techniques (structural releases and adjustments). She understands that some patients may be seeking a gentler treatment approach for a variety of reasons, both medical and personal.
